Baallow is a proud and educated Hadza, one of the last tribes of hunter-gatherers in Africa. The survival of his people has become a matter of great urgency to him after the Tanzanian government’s latest ploy to try and lease their ancient land for sports hunting. The film follows Baallow, a powerful figure and a charismatic self-appointed leader of the Hadza, as he travels long distances across unspoilt tribal territory in Central Tanzania, to drum up their support for a change.
